TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

1. For these Terms & Conditions Home-Away  will be known as H-A.
2. Anyone using the services of H-A will be know as the 'Client'.
3. H-A reserve the right to change any of the charges in the future.
4. H-A are not responsible for any circumstances out of their control.
5. It is the client's responsibility to adequately insure the property, its contents and any pets.

HOME SERVICES

1. A retainer of £450 which is non-refundable will be required before any work commences. Once H-A are in receipt of the cleared funds, searches will begin and all properties will be viewed on the client's behalf to ascertain a suitable short list that matches the client's requirements, taken from the questionnaire at the initial consultation and agreed with the client.
2. If none of the properties found is suitable a further retainer of £375 (non-refundable) would be required to begin a new search.
3. Accompanied viewings are charged at £30 for each property viewed, payable at the time of viewing.
4. All other services are charged by the hour and invoiced separately on a 14 day invoice, payable by cheque or bank transfer.
5. If the client cancels any services at any stage, the retainer is non refundable.
6. H-A will endeavour to find properties that match their client's brief to the best of their ability.  H-A act in an advisory role only. It is the client's responsibility to satisfy themselves that any of the properties found are suitable for their own requirements.

AWAY SERVICES

1. The Away Services payment terms are charged weekly.
2. If the Away Services are not required for a full week, payment is required on completion of the said service.
3. The prices for the Away Service are listed on the AWAY SERVICES page.
4. Tailor-made packages will be agreed with the client before commencement of any services.
5. In the case of an emergency during the owner's absence, H-A will follow the pre-arranged course of action agreed with the client.
6. House sitting - A deposit of 50% of the total sum to be paid 7 days before the house sitting commences. If the depoisit is not paid H-A refuse to accept the booking.  The balance of 50% plus any extra services booked is payable on the day the owner returns.
